# Privacy Policy for Cognitive Benchmark

Last updated: May 27, 2026

NEVU Music d.o.o. ("we", "us", or "our"), a company registered in Croatia, operates the Cognitive Benchmark mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

## 2. Information Collection and Use

### A. Local Storage of Game Scores & Performance Data

To provide you with your personal cognitive scores, high scores, and percentile history, the Service processes and saves your game performance results (such as reaction times in milliseconds and completed game levels).

* **100% Local Storage:** All score and benchmark data is stored exclusively on your individual device using local web storage technologies (WebView LocalStorage / IndexedDB).

* **No Server Uploads:** We do not collect, store, or transmit your game results, usernames, or scores to any external servers or databases owned by us. If you delete the app or clear its data, your local high scores will be permanently deleted.

### B. Third-Party Services (Advertising & Infrastructure)

While we do not collect your personal data directly, the Service integrates third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) provided by WebToNative and Google to enable advertisements and app functionality. These third parties may collect information used to identify you:

* **Google AdMob (Advertising):** Used to display advertisements within the app. AdMob collects the Android Advertising ID (AAID), IP address, and device characteristics to show personalized or non-personalized ads, track ad performance, and prevent fraud.

  * *EEA/UK/USA Regulations:* Users in the EEA, UK, and select US states are presented with a Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form upon first launch. This allows you to choose between personalized and non-personalized ads or withdraw your consent at any time via the app's settings.

* **WebToNative Wrapper (App Infrastructure):** Our app utilizes WebToNative technology to wrap our web application into a native Android environment. This technology may store native cache and standard session cookies locally on your device to ensure stable app performance, optimal rendering, and proper execution of AdMob features. We do not access or use these files for tracking purposes.

## 3. Log Data

In the event of an app crash or technical error, anonymous diagnostic data ("Log Data") may be collected via Google Play or third-party monitoring tools. This data may include your device's IP address (anonymized), device name, operating system version, and the exact time/date of the error. This information is used solely for debugging and improving the stability of the Service.

## 4. Data Security

Since your game progression and scores remain entirely on your physical device, the security of that data depends on your device's security settings. For any data transmitted to third parties (such as AdMob ad requests), secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) are strictly enforced.

## 5. Children’s Privacy

Our Service is designed for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. Since all gameplay scores are stored strictly locally, no children's data is transmitted to us. If you believe a child has provided personal information to our third-party partners, please contact those services directly or reach out to us.

## 6. Your GDPR Rights

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom (UK), you have extensive rights regarding data protection. However, because we do not store your personal information or scores on our servers, we cannot access, modify, or delete your high scores for you—you can exercise total control over this data simply by clearing the application's cache or uninstalling the app from your device.

Regarding the third-party advertising data collected by Google AdMob, you have the following rights:

* **Right to Withdraw Consent:** You can change or reset your advertisement preferences at any time through the Google Consent form inside the app or via your system settings (*Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID*).

To exercise any data inquiries, you can contact us at: **contact@nevumusic.com**.

## 7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in app functionality or legal requirements. Any modifications are effective immediately upon being published within the application or on our official distribution channels.
